NSI Navaid Database NSI also has a complete vector database of all US aids to navigation which is updated monthly with the latest Notice to Mariner updates. Included in this database are 3D navigation aid models for every type of navigational aid available. Each aid has 24 different fields of characteristics to help identify it. When used within the 2008 Contour SDK each lighted aid blinks to its period as specified in the database.
